- AVCATT
AVCATT ("Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer") is a mobile aviation training simulator developed by
L-3 Communications , Link Simulation & Training for theUnited States Army . Unlike many other simulators, AVCATT allows for multiple simultaneous users. AVCATT is capable of being configured to simulate the following helicopter platforms: AH-64A Apache, OH-58D Kiowa Warrior, UH-60 Blackhawk, CH-47D Chinook and AH-64D Longbow. AVCATT provides a flexible and portable training solution capable of rapid deployment and reconfiguration to meet strategic training needs. The AVCATT simulator is most commonly deployed in a two trailer configuration; each trailer can contain up to three cockpit simulators. One trailer houses an after-action review station used for brief/debriefing.Several companies supply the hardware needed for the simulator such as
