Sam "Sam Mac" McMillan is an
Australian radio andtelevision personality.After starting at local Adelaide radio station,
Fresh FM , Sam Mac scored a job doing swing announcing onSAFM /TripleM Adelaide. In December 2002, Sam Mac began hosting the evening shift onSAFM . In April 2003 Sam Mac was moved to hosting Mid-Days onSAFM .TripleM Adelaide changed from Classic Hits to a CHR/Pop radio format in November 2003. As part of this format change, Sam Mac was moved toTripleM where Sam Mac hosted 'The Freq Show' with modelImogen Bailey .When
TripleM Adelaide andSAFM changed back their original formats in December 2005, Sam Mac began hosting afternoon drive. Sam Mac was promoted once again in 2006, to anchorSAFM Breakfast program "Milly and Lehmo". Sam Mac has since left this position as Sam Mac has now moved to Sydney.He has also produced two seasons of 'Sam Mac's Single Bed' which aired on
Channel 31 and foxtel on Aurora The Community Channel. Sam Mac's Single Bed was a low-budget comedy/variety television show hosted from Sam's actual apartment in front of a small audience in his kitchen. The House band for series two were The Dairy Brothers.He was also a nominee in the 2006 Cleo Bachelor Of The Year awards.
In October 2006 Sam Mac was picked up by
Channel Ten to play a sidekick role on late night show 'The Big Night In With John Foreman'. Sam contributed humorous advertorials and various other funny segments.Sam Mac hosted the
Hot30 Countdown on theAustereo Network in late 2006 and was known for his off the wall questions and stunts with celebrities.As of 2008 Sam Mac has hosted various shows (Including Wild Turkey) on Sydney's Triple M station.
Sam Mac is currently a panel operator/segment contributor on the Wil and Lehmo national drive radio show airing on
Triple M .Sam's obsession with the Channel 7 show Gladiators is documented on the Wil and Lehmo show. He provides a humorous review of the program. He likes to rock the party
