Orator Shaffer

George W. Shaffer (October, 1851 - January 21, 1922) was a Major League baseball outfielder. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He is the only outfielder to record 50 assists in one season, which he did in 1879 with the Chicago White Stockings.
