Kendall, New York .Stangland won two
bronze medal s inathletics at the 1904 Summer Olympics at the age of 23. In thelong jump Stangland won thebronze medal with a jump of 6.88 meters, finishing behind gold medalistMyer Prinstein andDaniel Frank who won thesilver medal . In thetriple jump at the 1904 Olympics, Stangland won anotherbronze medal with a distance of 13.365 meters withMyer Prinstein once again winning thegold medal andFrederick Engelhardt taking silver.External links
