SBS Transit Service 69

Service 69 is a trunk bus service operated by SBS Transit in Singapore. It goes from Tampines Bus Interchange via "Tampines Avenue 5", "Tampines Avenue 8", "Tampines Avenue 1", "Bedok Reservoir Road", "Bedok North Avenue 3" and "Bedok North Street 1" to Bedok Bus Interchange and back to Tampines Bus Interchange in the reverse direction (called a loop). Most of the time, Temasek Polytechnic students would take up the bus capacity. It also goes through many schools such as Springfield Secondary School and Bedok Green Secondary School.

This was the first service introduced primarily to serve Temasek Polytechnic. Services 8 and 15 were introduced to Temasek Polytechnic later. After that Service 23 (which used to go straight up Pan Island Expressway after "Tampines Avenue 5"), was diverted to serve Temasek Polytechnic. Service 518 was the last to be introduced as the link to city.

Passengers normally board this service at Berth B8 (shared with service 37 and SBS Transit Service 291 if they are coming from Tampines Bus Interchange and Berth B3 (shared with service 229 and 168) if they are coming from Bedok Bus Interchange.

This service would proceed straight to the boarding point at Bedok Bus Interchange instead of going to the bus park.

Service 69 is considered to be interchangeable with service 18. For example, they have once taken SBS 3702P for use with service 69. Like other bus services, spares have also been used. SBS 1746B is one such bus that has been used as one of the bus replacements for service 69.
