Ramapuram is a town in Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the birth place of famous writers such as Ramapurath Warrier, Paremakkal Governadore and Lalithambika Antharjanam. It is situated on Palai and Koothattukulam road. The Sri Rama temple of Ramapuram is famous. The temples of Lakshmana, Bharatha & Shatrukhna are situated within 3.5 km of one another in Koodappulam, Amanakara and Methiri respectively.

The centuries old twin churches of Ramapuram are two of the oldest churches which still exist in Kerala. This complex consists of a smaller church dedicated to St. Augustine and a larger one dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. While the church dedicated to St. Augustine dates to 1450, the one dedicated to the Blessed Virgin was erected in 1864.The structures represent a unique architectural style prevalent in the early colonial period with the Persian facade showing marked influence over the Portuguese style. The Roman columns and the veranda too are rare features of the churches of a bygone era.

The house of Sri Ramapuratthu Warrier has been converted to UP School as Ramapuratthu Warrier Memorial UP School. There are two schools - St.Augustine's higher secondary school for boys and Sacred Heart high school for girls. The Mar Augusthinose College is also situated at Ramapuram. The College is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. One of Ramapuram's best known residents is Blessed Fr. Augustine Thevarparambil (Kunjachan).
