Bruce Turgon

Bruce Turgon

Bruce Turgon is a bass guitarist who has played in several bands throughout his career including Showcase, Black Sheep, Shadow King, and Foreigner.

Turgon is a longtime collaborator with singer Lou Gramm. Turgon and Gramm originally worked together in Black Sheep. During Gramm's subsequent tenure as lead singer with Foreigner, the two teamed up on Lou Gramm's solo albums "Ready Or Not" and "Long Hard Look". After Gramm officially left Foreigner, Turgon and Gramm started a band with future Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and drummer Kevin Valentine, called Shadow King. Kevin later went on to provide the drumming for KISS's 1998 album, "Psycho Circus" and KISS's 1992, "Revenge". Shadow King created one self-titled album and performed one live event before breaking up. After Shadow King dissolved, Gramm returned to Foreigner, but this time Turgon joined him, and was a member of the band through several albums before leaving.

In 2005, Turgon released a solo album titled "Outside Looking In". The album features Turgon's multi-talent as a musician, songwriter and vocalist. The musical style of the CD is very similar to the melodic rock sound he produced as part of Shadow King. A couple of the tracks were co-written by Lou Gramm, who also provides some background vocals.

Bruce Turgon is currently working on a collaboration album with Redding electronic musician Craig Padilla.
