Dungannon Primary School is a primary school located in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It caters for girls and boys aged from 4 to 11 and has approximately 200 pupils. It is within the Southern Education and Library Board area.

The school was formed in 1967 when Union Place Primary School and Drumglass Primary School merged. The parent schools, dating from the 1800s, were church-ran (Presbyterian Church in Ireland and Church of Ireland respectively) while the daughter school was state-ran, as part of educational reforms.

Baron Maginnis taught there before entering a career in politics. The school shares a campus with Dungannon Nursery School, adjoining the Dungannon campus of East Tyrone College of Further & Higher Education. As of 2006, the school principal is Mr. N. E. Downing.

In 2004, Neil Downing was awarded as the "Headteacher of the Year" of Northern Ireland, an award which brings thousands of pounds in cash and supplies to schools.[1]

Former Headmaster, and former President of the Irish Cricket Union, Bob Kerr died suddenly during the 2007 Cricket World Cup while attending the event with his wife. [2]
