In the1956 NFL Draft , he was drafted #6 overall by Cleveland.He was selected by the
Dallas Cowboys in the1960 NFL Expansion Draft . He played there from 1960 to 1967. He held a franchise record of 14 touchdown receptions for theDallas Cowboys until 2007.On September 23rd, 1963 he was part of an infamous play where, for the first time in anyone's memory in an NFL game, points were awarded for a penalty.Fact|date=February 2007 The Cowboys were holding in the
