Measure Foundry

Measure Foundry

Measure Foundry is an open, powerful application builder that provides a system solution for all types of measurement instruments. Specifically, Measure Foundry is designed to support any standard instrument interface including synthetic instruments.

Support for synthetic instruments

The promise of synthetic instruments is the ability to change the capability of an instrument through software. Beyond virtual instruments, which represent a specific device, synthetic instruments allow a generic device to be used as the instrument needed.

Measure Foundry provides the means to create synthetic instruments by providing a system solution for all instrument classes supported by industry standards such as GPIB, LXI, VXI, PXI, USB, RS-232 etc. Additionally, it supports all test and measurement system standards including IVI, VISA, and SCPI. Because of its underlying design, applications are rapidly configured through property pages for small systems and can be easily scaled to large systems, regardless of the interface or system standard used, essentially fulfilling the promise of synthetic instruments.
