The Village Green is a Portland, Oregon indie rock band, composed of lead vocalist/guitarist/composer J. Nicholas Allard and drummer/producer/back-up vocalist Jeremy Sherrer.

They have released an EP, "The Village Green", in 2005 and a full-length album, "Feeling the Fall", which was released in the United States on August 29, 2006.

They have been compared to their influences, including The Beatles and The Kinks, whose famous album [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kinks_Are_the_Village_Green_Preservation_Society] they name themselves after.
