Donato is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km north of Turin and about 15 km west of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 750 and an area of 11.8 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

Donato borders the following municipalities: Andrate, Chiaverano, Graglia, Mongrando, Netro, Sala Biellese, Settimo Vittone.
