Carinola is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 45 km northwest of Naples and about 30 km northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,164 and an area of 63.7 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

The municipality of Carinola contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Ruosi, Ventaroli, San Donato, Casale, Nocelleto, S. Croce, Croce di Casale, and Casanova.

Carinola borders the following municipalities: Falciano del Massico, Francolise, Sessa Aurunca, Teano.
