Poochie (toy)

Poochie (toy)

Poochie was a popular Mattel toy in the 1980s, a white dog with pink ears and paws that wore a pair of purple sunglasses and could do extraordinary things, such as drive a car and speak.

Usually appearing as a stuffed doll or a plastic figurine with brushable ears, her line of merchandise also extended to books, stationary sets, overnight kits and bedding. There was also a special/movie produced by DiC released on VHS. Poochie goes to Egypt to save a boy who is in trouble.
