Sant'Agostino is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 35 km north of Bologna and about 20 km west of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,357 and an area of 35.2 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

The municipality of Sant'Agostino contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Dosso and San Carlo.
