Tony Consiglio

Tony Consiglio

Tony Consiglio is an American cartoonist. He has had two graphic novels, "More or Less" and "110 Percent", published by Top Shelf Comics.

Antonino Gilligan Consiglio was born in Brooklyn and quickly whisked off to Queens where he spent the next thirty-one years. Antonino has worked many odd jobs at such places as Macy's Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, Dean & DeLuca on the Square, and The Beacon Square Theatre. Antonino attended the School of Visual Arts. He then moved to Indianapolis where he lived for four years. Antonino now resides with his current wife Chris in Apache Junction, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.

Antonino started in the mini-comic business with "Double Cross!", of which he finished thirty-nine issues. Two of Tony's graphic novels have been published by Top Shelf Comics, "More or Less" and "110 Percent". Tony is currently working on a new graphic novel tentatively entitled "Titanius", about a titanium-encrusted man searching for his long-lost son. A short story featuring Titanius can be read in AdHouse Books (2005). In recent interviews Tony has hinted that new long-form autobiographical "Double-Cross!" comics are in the works.
