Faldingworth

Faldingworth

Faldingworth is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 253. It is on the A46 near Market Rasen.

Faldingworth has a post office and village shop, All Saints church and a Methodist chapel. There is also a Primary School, village hall and a pub, the Coach and Horses.

RAF Faldingworth was used by Bomber Command during World War II and although the base closed in 1972 parts of the airfield are still there.
