Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant is a village in Powys, mid Wales. Population 1,470 Fact|date=March 2008, Welsh-speaking 62% Fact|date=March 2008. The village is best known as the former parish of William Morgan, then a vicar who first translated the Bible into Welsh and later rose to become a Bishop at Llandaff Cathedral and St. Asaph.

Attractions near the village include Wales's highest waterfall, the Pistyll Rhaeadr, known for its natural arch.

The Berwyn Mountains are nearby and Lake Vyrnwy.
