Church Business Administrator

Church Business Administrator

Church Business Administrators are trained personnel working in churches. The position varies from congregation to congregation and may be part-time or full-time. The administrator's work may include personnel and human resources management, financial management, and property management.

Certification as a Church Business Administrator is provided by various organizations.

The National Associate of Church Business Administration is a national and ecumenical organization. Other groups include the Assemblies of God Church Administration Association, National Association of Catholic Church Business Administration, United Methodist Association of Church Business Administrators, Southern Baptist Church Administrators Association, Presbyterian Church Business Administrators Association and the National Association of Temple Administrators.

Both the NACBA and the various denominational organizations offer certification programs, conferences and networking programs for administrators.
