Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE|WYN) is the holding company for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Group RCI and other lodging brands. It was spun off from Cendant Corporation in July 2006.

Wyndham Worldwide, based in Parsippany, New Jersey, is one of the world's largest hospitality companies across six continents. It offers individual consumers and business customers a broad array of hospitality products and services as well as various accommodation alternatives and price ranges through a premier portfolio of world-renowned brands. Wyndham Hotel Group

Wyndham Hotel Group is the world’s largest lodging franchiser, encompassing nearly 6,900 hotels under 12 brands on six continents. Wyndham Hotel Group's Wyndham Rewards loyalty program is the largest in the lodging industry as measured by the number of participating hotels. Lodging management services are provided to upscale properties through Wyndham Hotel Management.

In early 2008, Global Hyatt Corporation announced that the Wyndham Worldwide Group would purchase US Franchise Systems, Inc., owner of the Microtel and Hawthorn Suites brands, for $150 million. The transaction closed July 21, 2008. US Franchise Systems had previously sold the America's Best Inn (formerly Best Inns) chain to the Country Hearth Inns chain in 2005. That holding company is now known as America's Best Franchising Inc.

The company is based in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Wyndham Rewards

Wyndham Rewards (formerly TripRewards) is a branded, points-based rewards program for frequent travelers, the largest travel rewards program of its kind in the lodging industry based on the number of participating hotels. Wyndham Rewards members have the option of earning Wyndham Rewards points, which can be redeemed for shopping and dining gift certificates, airline tickets & miles, rail miles, and merchandise such as electronics, appliances and sporting goods, resort vacations, free entertainment and more. Wyndham Rewards members have the option of earning Wyndham Rewards points or airline or rail points. Users are asked to indicate their earning preference when they sign up. If a user does not make a choice between points, airline or rail points, it is assumed that the user wishes to earn Wyndham Rewards Points. Those who have chosen to earn airline or rail points will have their earnings deposited directly into their account at the selected airline or rail partner.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is the largest vacation ownership business, in the world. It includes a network of 140 properties, 20,000 individual units, and over 800,000 property owners.
