It is known for its marine, bathing localities of the Adriatic Sea: Roca Vecchia, San Foca, Torre dell'Orso and Torre Sant'Andrea, which were awarded the European Blue Flag prize for their limpid sea. Melendugno also includes the frazione of Borgagne.
