Jermaine Allensworth

Jermaine Lamont Allensworth (born January 11, 1972 in Anderson, Indiana) is a professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues primarily as an outfielder from 1996-1999 and currently plays Independent league baseball for the Schaumburg Flyers of the Northern League. He initially signed to play for the RailCats in 2002, but signed a minor league contract with the Braves before the RailCats' season began. He is a Purdue University alumnus and was a Big Ten Conference All-Star in 1993; he was also a All-Star in the Pacific Coast League in 1996 and a member of the Northern League Champion Gary SouthShore RailCats in 2007.
