Baki Mercimek (born 18 September 1982) is a Turkish footballer who currently plays for Ankaraspor. He has previously had spells with Sunderland AFC in England, for whom he never played a first team game, as well as Haarlem in Netherlands and Beşiktaş. He was born in Amsterdam. He is eligible to play for Netherlands, as well as Turkey. He stated that:"I have Turkish blood and I'd love to play for my country one day."
