The Braves (band)

The Brooklyn Braves is a three piece hip-hop group hailing from New York City and New Jersey. Vocalist's Sneed and Solo (formerly Solo.45) began their collaboration in 2003 and officially dubbed themselves The Braves in 2005. They were joined by DJ Yamez at the tail end recording of their debut album "Reporting Live". While looking for a resident DJ, they were suggested Yamez from a few friends and Total Eclipse of the Xecutioners as well. "Reporting Live" contains production from: Domingo, Kno (of Cunninglynguists), Alias (Anticon), Sneed and guest vocals by: Canibus. Although the record was set for release on August 28th 2007, The braves split from their label & started up their own indie situation called Adapted. The record was released November 2007.
