This project started as a
PlayStation game [http://psx.ign.com/objects/014/014550.html] , but development was moved to the Dreamcast [http://dreamcast.ign.com/articles/076/076601p1.html] and Windows [http://pc.ign.com/articles/076/076590p1.html] . These versions were later scrapped [http://pc.ign.com/objects/014/014271.html] [http://dreamcast.ign.com/articles/092/092570p1.html] , and development was moved to theXbox [http://xbox.ign.com/articles/097/097983p1.html] .The game was re-released as part of the Xbox Classics series.
Additional features
*While "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" was advertised as a single-player game, it has a hidden
multiplayer mode, apparently fordebugging purposes [http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox/file/buffy_the_vampire_slayer_arena.txt] .
*The game starts with a variation of the expository narrative that was featured in the early Buffy episodes, as well as a variation on the opening titles sequence. However, both of these are made up of game footage.Goofs
*It is possible to kill the big, tough vampire in The Bronze by depleting his life and staking him in the ground. However, when the player tries to escape, he is alive again.
*When you fight against Angel in the hidden multiplayer mode, Buffy will say lines referring to The Master, not Angel (though Angel was possessed by The Master in single-player mode).External links
