List of ircII scripts

List of ircII scripts

This is a list of scripts for the ircII IRC client.

AtlantiS

AtlantiS was written by "Dethnite". Several versions of the script were modified by third parties to contain backdoors, giving that person varying degrees of control over someone using the compromised script, a problem which was common with ircII scripts. The final version released was v1.3a.,

lynXified

"BigCheese" and "" developed the original ircII scripts in 1990. Several of them are still being distributed with ircII and derivates, others are available at http://irc.pages.de/ircII/

PhoEniX

PhoEniX was written by Ryan J. Addams, who went by the handle "Vassago". The script was rewritten for clients such as BitchX, EPIC and mIRC, until eventually most of the features PhoEniX offered were hardcoded into those programs. The final version of the script, version 3.01r2, was released January 1, 1997 [ [http://www.taoofryan.com/links/index.php Ryan Addams' website] ] .
