Chaska Middle School East

Coordinates: 44°48′26.4″N 93°35′46.9″W / 44.807333°N 93.596361°W / 44.807333; -93.596361 Chaska Middle School East is one of the three middle schools in Chaska, Minnesota (District 112). It serves grades 6-8 and organizes students in each grade into different "families", simulating a smaller school size. It serves approximately 800 students.

Families

In 2008-09, the families were: Sixth Grade, Golden Griffins and Bronze Phoenix; Seventh Grade: Golden Gophers and Purple Eagles; Eighth Grade: Pink Panthers and Teal Timberwolves.

The district added a new middle school in 2009-10, and the current families are: Sixth grade, Golden Griffins and Bronze Phoenix; Seventh grade, Silver Ravens; Eighth Grade, Platinum Pterodactyls.

There is a family combined between 7th and 8th grade, the Blue Falcons.

Administration

Chaska Middle School East's principal is James Bach; the assistant principal is Dr. Judy Nagel.
