"Treat Me Like a Lady" is the name of a 1990 single by British pop group Five Star. It was their first single for more than a year with their new record label, Epic.

The group recorded the single in their new high-technology studio (reportedly costing £2.5 million), that was built in the grounds of their family home, Stone Court, in Ascot, Berkshire. The single wasn't a commercial success (#54 in the UK), but it saw the group take on a different direction in pop music, having penned and produced the whole album, "Five Star", themselves. The video featured the group performing a dance routine, with the names of each group member as a backdrop. The video is a favourite with fans, and is much sought after. Five Star switched lead vocalist, with Doris singing lead for the first time on a UK single, a move which Denise was reportedly unhappy with at the time.

By the time "Treat Me Like a Lady" was released and did not make the Top 40, Five Star and the public realised that their run of hits had come to an end. The single was one of their best self-written tracks to datefact|date=July 2008, but surprisingly it did not notch up enough sales to become a major hit. The single proved popular with American fans, however (peaking at #22), and even had its own American version video, released on their new DVD "Five Star Performance" in March 2007.
