Fran Capo is a motivational speaker, adventurer, comedian, voice-over artist, 9-time author and holder of 3 world records.

She is currently listed in the "Guinness World Records" as the fastest-talking female, having broken the record twice. Capo set the current record on June 5, 1990Fact|date=August 2008 at the Guinness Museum in Las Vegas, speaking 603.32 words in 54.2 seconds.Fact|date=August 2008 She first broke the record speaking 585 words-per-minute (wpm) on Larry King Live on March 5, 1986.Fact|date=August 2008

Capo also holds a record for highest elevation for a book signing, as the first and only author to do a book-signing on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, [2006 Ripley's Believe it or Not! - Planet Eccentric book (page 109)] signing copies of her books Adrenaline Adventures and Almost a Wise Guy on July 10, 2004. She also holds the record for lowest elevation for a book signing, and the first to conduct a memorial prayer service at the wreck site of the RMS "Titanic", performing both in a submersible July 10, 2005. Capo has been on over 250 television shows and 1000 radio shows including "Entertainment Tonight", "Larry King Live", "Last Call with Carson Daly", "Good Morning America", "Nick at Nite", "Discovery Channel" and the "Martha Stewart Show".
