San Francisco is one of many cities touted as having been built on seven hills. In fact, the city actually incorporates at least 43 named hills.

Seven Hills

When people talk about the "Seven Hills" of San Francisco, they refer to the seven original hills: Telegraph Hill, Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Rincon Hill, Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks and Mount Davidson.
