Scott Lagasse (pronounced LAG-a-see) (born February 20 1959 in St. Augustine, Florida) is a former race car driver. He raced primarily on road courses during his career. He made his NASCAR debut in 1993 at Watkins Glen, starting 15th and finishing 31st after his #75 Mark III Vans Oldsmobile suffered transmission failure. He also made his Winston Cup debut that year at Watkins Glen as well, finishing 13th in the #39 Pedigree Chevrolet. He'd run the Cup race at Watkins Glen the next year as well, but finished 36th.

In 1995, Lagasse signed to drive the #24 DuPont Chevrolet Silverado for Hendrick Motorsports in the fledging Craftsman Truck Series. He posted seven top-ten finishes and finished ninth in points. Despite this, Lagasse was released in favor of Jack Sprague. He would run four races in the #77 the next year, his best finish being a seventeenth at Nazareth Speedway.

In 1997, Lagasse ran nine races in the #22 owned by Allen Bloom, but wrecked four times and did not finish any higher than 25th. He had a ninth-place start at Watkins Glen in 1998 in NASCAR Busch Series, followed up by a 25th place run for ST Motorsports at Myrtle Beach Speedway. His last start in a NASCAR-sanctioned race the following year at Watkins Glen, where he finished 14th in the #25 Team Rensi Motorsports car.

Lagasse has also run IMSA, ARCA, and ASA. His son, Scott Lagasse Jr., drives the #04 in the Truck Series and is a member of Chip Ganassi Racing's driver development program.
