Hot Springs (band)

Hot Springs (band)

(previously Karine Lauzon). On October 1, 2008, the band issued a release announcing the break-up of the group.

Since their release of "Rock Partouze" in 2005, Hot Springs had gained a large amount of attention in the Canadian independent music scene, with their track "Caco Disco" hitting #1 on the local college charts, MIMI (Montreal Independent Music Initiative) nominations in both the EP and Rising Star categories, and numerous radio and television spots within the francophone media circuit. They were unique in the Montréal music scene, in that they had an equal fan-base within both the francophone and anglophone communities. The band's first, and only, full length album, "Volcano" was released on September 18th, 2007 under Quire Records.
