Cigarette (song)

Cigarette (song)

Song by Ben Folds Five off of the Whatever and Ever Amen CD. Ben Folds said it was based on a run-on sentence he saw that began a newspaper article. The sentence/lyrics read as followed:

Fred Jones was worn out for caring for his often screaming and crying wife during the day, but, he couldn't sleep at night for fear that she in a stupor from the drugs that didn't ease the pain would set the house ablaze with a cigarette.

Also an entirely different song called cigarette by Jeremy Fisher was released 18th of September 2007. The music video on youtube has so far gained 2,174,655 views and counting.
