County Road 726 (Martin County, Florida)

County Road 726 is a ten-mile-long southwest-northeast highway, also known locally as Southwest 48th Street and Southwest Citrus Boulevard. It was formerly signed as State Road 726. The eastern terminus is an intersection between Southwest 48th Street and Pratt Whitney Road near Arundel (motorists continuing northward on Southwest 48th Street or eastward on Pratt Whitney Road drive along County Road 76A, itself a former State Road); the western terminus is an intersection between Southwest Citrus Boulevard and Bee Line Highway (SR 710) just north of the St. Lucie Canal in Indiantown (in the 1980s, then-SR 726 crossed the canal just east of Indiantown to intersect with Southwest Kanner Highway (SR 76) and then terminate at Bee Line Highway 0.2 miles to the southwest).

While County Road 726 shares the rural characteristics as SR 76 on the other side of the St. Lucie Canal, the southwestern end is located near Circle T Ranch Airport, an air strip serving the wetlands and woodlands between Lake Okeechobee and the Atlantic Ocean.
