Scoil na gCláirseach

Scoil na gCláirseach is an annual summer school dedicated to teaching the Cláirseach, the historical harp of Gaelic Ireland and Scotland. It is held each August in Kilkenny, in the southeast of Ireland. It was started in 2003 by the historical harp player Siobhán Armstrong.

In 2005 there were approximately 20 students from many different countries.

Teaching staff have included Ann Heymann, Javier Sáinz, Paul Dooley and Bill Taylor. Lecturers have included Gráinne Yeats, Seán Donnelly and Simon Chadwick.
