USS Savannah

Five ships of the United States Navy have been named USS "Savannah", after the city of Savannah, Georgia.

* The first USS|Savannah|1798|2 was a 1-gun galley built in 1799.
* The second USS|Savannah|1842|2 was a sailing frigate launched in 1842.
* The third USS|Savannah|AS-8|3 was a submarine tender in World War I.
* The fourth USS|Savannah|CL-42|3 was a light cruiser in service during World War II.
* The fifth USS|Savannah|AOR-4|3 was a fleet replenishment oiler in service from 1970 to 1995.
