Ligenfelter

Lingenfelter is a manufacturer of high performance automobiles, specializing in Corvettes.

Lingenfelter is based out of Decatur, Indiana.

They are well known for tuning corvettes (most notably the C5) into well-renowned "supercars". By adding such specs as twin-turbochargers they dramtically increase the cars overall performance and output. It was unofficially recorded that a 2002 ligenfelter C5 twin turbocharged corvette had reached a top speed eclipsing 220 mph on a test track. This would make it the fastest corvette speed ever recorded at the time. The most current C6's are installed with a 427 engine with an estimated output of 750 bhp.
