Dial H.U.S.K. is a fictional superheroine in Amalgam Comics, a metafictional comic publisher and collaboration between Marvel Comics and DC Comics. First appearing in "X-Patrol" #1 (June 1996), Dial H.U.S.K. is a combination of Marvel's Husk with DC's Dial H for Hero and Crazy Jane

Fictional character biography

Paige Guthrie is young mutant who one day discovered a mysterious dial shaped device. The device activated her latent mutant abilities, giving her the ability to shed her skin, each time gaining a new superheroic personality. By turning the dial to 12 o'clock, Paige can return to her normal form. [cite web

] She is a member of the X-Patrol (a combination of Marvel's X-Men and DC's Doom Patrol and Teen Titans).

Dial H.U.S.K's first mission with the X-Patrol was in "X-Patrol" #1, in which they were present at the siege on Latkovia against Dr. Doomsday (Marvel's Doctor Doom and DC's Doomsday. Dial H.U.S.K. returns in "Exciting X-Patrol" #1 (July 1997), in which she and the X-Patrol rescue Niles Cable from Brother Brood.

Powers and abilities

Dial H.U.S.K.'s mutant powers allow her to painlessly shed her epidermis. Each time she does so, she reveals a new form with both new superpowers and new personality. Some of the forms Dial H.U.S.K. has exhibited include:
*Wonder Girl (a combination of Wonder Girl and Wonder Man)
*Polaris (a combination of Polaris and Doctor Polaris)
*Mary Marvel Girl (Marvel's Marvel Girl and DC's Mary Marvel)
*Artemisty Knight (DC's Artemis of Bana-Mighdall combined with Marvel's Misty Knight) [Ibid]
