Alan Cox (born August 6, 1970) is a British actor.

Biography

He son of the Emmy Award winning actor Brian Cox and his first wife Caroline Burt. Alan was educated at St Paul's School (London). He has a sister, Margret, and a halfbrother "Torin Kamran Charles".

He is most known for his role in "Young Sherlock Holmes" (1985), where he played a teenage version of Dr. Watson. He has also appeared in "An Awfully Big Adventure" (1995), "Mrs. Dalloway" (1997), and "The Auteur Theory" (1999).

In 2004, he guest starred in the "Doctor Who" audio adventure "The Roof of the World".
