Special Generation

Hammer. They sang back-up on several of his recordings before becoming major recording artists in their own right in early 1990. That same year, their debut album, Take It To The Floor , was released and did well in the music/recording industry thanks to the ballad single "Love Me Just For Me" and the mid-tempo R & B top ten hit "Spark of Love". They got help from a former Troop member on their second album, Butterflies (1993). Just as if it seemed that album and the group would do even better the second time around, they vanished from the music scene prior to the end of '93.
