Ronaldo Mota Sardenberg, born on
October 8 ,1940 inItu in the state of São Paulo, is the Permanent Representative ofBrazil to theUnited Nations . He presented his credentials to theUnited Nations Secretary-General onMarch 25 ,2003 . Prior to being appointed to his present position, he was the Brazilian Minister of Science and Technology. As Minister for Special Projects in 1999, he had been in charge of nuclear andspace -related policies. He was also the Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations from1990 to1994 .External links
