The Lloydminster Bobcats are a Canadian ice hockey team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. History

The Bobcats were preceded by the Lloydminster Blazers from 1988 to 2005 and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Lloydminster Lancers from 1982 until 1988. Like in most franchise ownership changes and name changes, ownership likes to regard these changes as a "fresh start".
