Selkirk Students' Association local 4 of the Canadian Federation of Students and is a founding member. It is the student union for students at Selkirk College.

The SSA has over 1,200 members. Founded in 1972, it is one of the oldest community college students' unions in British Columbia.

The SSA has a democratic structure with annual elections of a Council. The Council is made up of 8 Directors at Large, and 5 Executives: External Director, Internal Director, Advocacy Director, Financial Director and Social Director.
