River Caves

River Caves

"River Caves" are a type of amusement ride often seen at amusement parks. Basically, the ride is an indoor or sheltered boat ride. The name stems from the fact that most of these rides were themed around caverns, with styrofoam stalagmites and stalactites.

Probably one of the most well-known River Caves rides is the 'River Caves' at Pleasure Beach Blackpool. There was one at Pleasureland Southport.
