Melroe Manufacturing Company

Melroe Manufacturing Company was founded in 1947 by E.G. Melroe in Gwinner, North Dakota. Melroe first made a spring-tooth harrow and pick-up header for harvesting. In the 1950s, they produced the first skid loader. In 1995, Melroe was bought by Ingersoll-Rand Company and was later renamed to Bobcat Company.
