Freestyle skiing at the 2006 Winter Olympics - Women's moguls

These are results of the Women's Moguls event in freestyle skiing at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. Hannah Kearney, the winner of the event at the 2005 World Championship [ [http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/610.html?sector=FS&raceid=3704 Results - World Ski Championships 2005 - Moguls] , from fis-ski.com, retrieved 11 February 2006] , failed to qualify for the final, while Canadian Jennifer Heil, the World Cup leader [ [http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/1467.html?sector=FS&suchseason=2006&suchcup=WC&suchgender=L Cup Standings - Freestyle] , from fis-ski.com, retrieved 11 February 2006] finished nearly a point ahead of the competition in her qualifying race. She thus started last, and was up against the time of Norwegian Kari Traa, who improved on her qualifying sum by 1.39 points. However, Heil's total of 26.50 was nearly a point better than Traa, which gave her the gold.
