Gary Martin (actor)

Gary Martin (Born June, 1958 in Chiswick, London) is a voice actor in some animated television series from the 1990s and 2000s.

Gary was born Gary Grant in Chiswick, London June 1958. He changed his name to Martin after realising there was another Gary Grant in Equity.

Gary has been the voice for TV's Honey Monster (Sugar Puffs) since about 1988. He also currently does regular voice work for TV commercials & film trailers including the Harry Potter films & St Trinian's.

Gary has been a backing singer and understudy for Cliff Richard in the 1980s stage musical TIME. Also appearing in TIME as a Judge.

Gary thought it was time to move on from TIME when Cliff Richard left & David Cassidy took over (with David Ian as understudy), by joining the stage musical Cats playing Munkustrap.

Gary went on to various other stage musicals including Moby, Haunting of the Snark and playing the role of Vince Fontaine (which some believe was made for him) in Grease.

Gary appeared as a male backing vocalist on Queen's Let Me Live, which was released on their Made in Heaven album in 1995, and as a single the following year.
