Spoon River College

Spoon River College is a community college located in West-Central Illinois. Its main campus is located near Canton, Illinois, with classes also offered at centers in Havana, Macomb, and Rushville, Illinois.

Spoon River College, founded as Canton Community College, held its first classes in September 1960. Today Spoon River College enrolls approximately 4,000 credit students per year.

Many of the instructors during the summer are members of the faculty at Western Illinois University. This is especially true of the courses taught at the Macomb campus for Spoon River College.
