Annette Tucker

Annette Tucker

Annette Tucker is a songwriter. She is particularly noted for collaborations with Nancie Mantz, Jill Jones and Kathy Wakefield.

Her partnership with Nancie Manz, who contributed lyrics for Tucker's tunes, was particularly fruitful. Possibly the most famous Tucker/Mantz composition is "I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night)", the single that launched the Electric Prunes. Tucker had already played a large part in launching the band, having introduced them to David Hassinger.
