Sattar Memon

Sattar Memon was born June 1, 1947 in a small village in Rajasthan, India. He went to The United States of America in 1973.

He has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island since 1996 and holds M.D. and F.A.C.P. degrees.

Among his published works are seven short stories and his first novel, The Ashram (novel), which has already won the second place award in the Inspirational Category of the 13th Annual Writer's Digest International Self-Published Book Awards.

Dr. Memon's second book is titled JEWS, CHRISTIANS, HINDUS AND MUSLIMS-TELL THEM THE TRUTH: THERE ARE NO ANGELS ... NO MIRACLES AND ... THERE IS NO GOD! It is an anthology of spiritually based short stories - tales of faith. It offers solace to those facing tragedy by helping to spread God’s message.

His third book, Cancer: Conquering Death, Inspiring Tales of Survivors is being readied for publication.
